Stoik Capturer is a software program that allows users to capture video from a DV camcorder, TV tuner, video card, or Webcam. It can capture video in AVI or WMV format using a selected codec or profile. It also has the ability to capture video directly from the capture device without recompression to avoid dropped frames. It can split the capture file by size to get around file size limitations. It can also control the DV camera or other device that supports device control from the Capturer. Lastly, it can output DV AVI to a DV camcorder.
